Final Presentation

I wanted to let everyone know that I am currently in the process of uploading my presentation to google docs and will post it as soon as the upload is complete. I apologize that I may not meet the 11:59 pm deadline. However, it will be posted before I get to bed this evening. I hope you enjoy my presentation. Please do not hesitate to leave feedback and let me know your thoughts.

I have edited my video to play in mp4 format. I believe this will assist most of you to now view the document. The mp4 also reduced the size of the file from 303MB to just over 100+MB.

  1. Excellent presentation Terry, and enjoyed the conference today. Its great to at least put a voice to the name. As I was viewing your presentation, I cannot help but wonder with open source technology if eventually the structure and framework will come under a governance mirroring that as current licensing processes, that we will find ourselves back full circle where the limits will eliminate the objective?

  2. That is an interesting thought. As with many innovations over the years, I think that if governance does make itself known that individuals will find a new work around. Successful innovations have a way of thriving, regardless of the governance involved.

  3. Terry,

Nice job. I'm really interested to see how the future of OERs is going to pan out. I'm thinking about how it will affect textbook publishers and universities. Have you heard of 'Teachers without Borders'? It is a website where you can create a course or take courses free of charge. Very excited about the future of open source.
